Are my files uploaded to a server?
No. Everything runs in your browser, so your files never leave your device. That also makes it safe for contracts, IDs and other private documents.
Can I convert only some pages?
Yes. Type a range such as 1-3, 7, 10- in the Pages box, or open Choose Pages to pick them from thumbnails.
Which resolution should I use?
72 DPI is enough for quick previews, 150 DPI suits screens and documents, and 300 DPI is best for printing or zooming in. Higher resolution means larger files.
Does it work with password-protected PDFs?
Yes. If a PDF needs a password, enter it when asked. It is used only in your browser to open the file and is never sent anywhere.
Will the text in the PNG be selectable?
No. Each page becomes a picture, so text can’t be selected or searched. That is also why PNG images display the same everywhere.
PNG or JPG for PDF pages?
PNG is lossless and keeps text perfectly sharp, but files are larger. JPG is much smaller and works well for pages with photos.
